- Roberts was a three-time All Southern Conference selection and two-time NCAA FCS All American as a wide receiver for the Bulldogs. He is The Citadel's all-time leader in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns as of 2021.
- Roberts was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft. During his pro career he has also played with the Washington Redskins, Detroit Lions, Atlanta Falcons, New York Jets, Buffalo Bills, Houston Texans, Los Angeles Chargers and Carolina Panthers. In 2018, he became the second Citadel Bulldog to be selected to the NFL Pro Bowl.
- Roberts earned the National Football League Salute to Service Award presented by USAA which recognized his commitment to honor, empower, and connect our nation's service members, veterans, and their families.
