››Your Perception of Heroes
Psychology professors Dr. Conway Saylor and Dr. Chip Taylor are asking you to participate in a brief on-line anonymous research survey about adults’ perceptions of heroes and heroic acts, how they change over the life span, and how they relate to life experiences. This research was made possible by the Arland D. Williams Professorship, which honors a Citadel alumnus who sacrificed his life to save several of his fellow air-crash survivors in January, 1982. Survey participation is completely voluntary and you may choose to discontinue at any time. For every form that is completed by an adult aged 23 or older before June 7th , 2010 a $1 donation will be made to the PSI CHI’s fund to support The Citadel’s Halloween and Valentines Day Buddy Dances. Up to $500 will be donated. Thus in 5-10 minutes you can help us better understand heroism AND help support a major cadet community outreach program for people with disabilities. Thanks for your consideration! Here is the link to use if you decide to take the brief survey: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ZH3MD3N
