All Alumni and Friends of The Citadel are invited to the March Charleston Area Alumni Breakfast to be held this Saturday, March 13, at 8:30 in the Renken Room of the Holliday Alumni Center. The breakfast is a great opportunity to network and fellowship with alumni and to get a good meal and great information about The Citadel. The cost of the breakfast is $10, payable at the door. Please make checks payable to Citadel Alumni Association.

Our speaker this month is Cadet Colonel Zachary Holliday, the Regimental Commander. He will share with us a little about himself and how the 2009-2010 year is going so far. It will be a very informative morning.

The Annual Citadel Muster is a time to honor friends and classmates who have passed away during the previous year, as well as an opportunity to socialize with fellow alumni and friends of The Citadel who live in the Pacific Northwest:

7:00 Dinner
7:45 Muster Formation and Dinner Speaker.
$55 per person - Spouses, Family and Friends are welcome.

Uniform is coat & tie for men and cocktail attire for women. Military personnel are encouraged to wear their appropriate dress uniform.

This year there will be a special drawing for a prize valued at $100 to be given to one lucky guest (non-alumnus) in attendance at this years Muster!

The Corps Day Golf tournament is open to the public. The cost is $70/person and includes greens fees, golf cart, range balls and lunch. The tournament begins at 9am with a shotgun start. Prizes will be awarded at the end of play.

Kevin Higgins Golf Classic

The fourth annual Kevin Higgins Golf Classic will be held at Summerville's Miler Country Club on Thursday, March 25, 2010. Golfers should arrive no later than 11:30am. We will have a shotgun start at noon. Soft drinks and adult beverages will be served on the golf course. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be served following the round of golf. A cash bar will be available during dinner.

All proceeds will benefit The Citadel's football program. Your support will ensure that coach Higgins' goal of bringing our program to championship level will be realized.

The Miler Country Club course and golf carts will be furnished by Bufort Blanton, '54.

We will use a Captain's Choice format and will be handicapped by the club pro. Prizes will be awarded - including an automobile for a hole-in-one.

Prices are $100 per player while hole sponsorship prices are $150 per individual sponsorship, $500 per corporate sponsorship which includes one free play and $1500 per tournament sponsorship which includes a free foursome of play. Players will be limited to 140; therefore, early enrollment is encouraged (first come, first served). Again, all proceeds will go directly to the football program.
